23rd Psalm, kjv

23rd Psalm, kjv

23 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the
house of the Lord
for ever.

A thought for Today

A Thought for Today

Deuteronomy 8:3 New King James Version (NKJV)

So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger,
and fed you with manna
which you did not know
nor did your fathers know, that He might
make you know that
A man shall not live by bread alone;
but man lives by every word
that proceeds from the mouth of
the Lord.

Where I Am

Where I Am
You may be

I dwell in the secret place of the Most High,
and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
My God; in Him will I trust.
Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler,
and
from the noisome pestilence.  He shall cover me
with His feathers, and under His wings shall
I trust:  His truth shall be my shield and my buckler.
I will not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the
arrow that flies by day;  Nor for the pestilence that
walks in darkness;
Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
'
 A thousand shall fall at my side,
 and ten thousand at my right hand;
But it shall not come near me.
Only with mine eyes shall I behold
and see the reward of the wicked.

Because I have made the Lord, which is my refuge,
even the Most Hight, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me, neither shall any sickness
come near my house;
For he shall give His angels charge over me,
to keep me in all my ways.
The angels shall bear me up in their hands,
to avoid that I should
dash my foot against a stone.  I shall tread upon
the lion and the adder:
the young lion and the dragon shall I trample under my feet.

Because I have set my love upon Him,
therefore will He deliver me:  God will set me on High,
because I have known His name.
I shall call upon God and He will answer me:
He will be with me in trouble; and,
He will deliver me, and honour me.  With long life will
He satisfy me, and show me
His salvation.

This Mind

Let This Mind

Mind

Let this Mind be in you,
that is also in 'The Christ', Yeshua
Who, became obedient unto death,
even the death on the cross.
Wherefore God has highly exalted him
and given him a name above every name:
that the name..., being in the form of a Man
(Speaking as God)
thought it not robbery to be equal with God
But, made himself of no reputation
and, took upon him the form of a servant
And, was made in the likeness of men:
and being found fashioned as a man,
He humbled himself...,

kjv.,of the Bible
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Depression

  • Does depression often occur with grief?

  • Grief is a common response to loss. Losses that may lead to grief include the death or separation of a loved one, loss of a job, death or loss of a beloved pet, or any number of other changes in life, such as divorce, becoming an "empty nester," or retirement. Anyone can experience grief and loss, but not everyone will experience depression. Each person is unique in how he or she copes with these feelings

What's the Link Between Depression and Chronic Illness?

In some people, a chronic illness causes depression. A chronic illness is an illness that lasts for a very long time and usually cannot be cured completely. However, chronic illnesses can often be controlled through diet, exercise, lifestyle habits, and certain medications. Some examples of chronic illnesses that may cause depression are diabetesheart diseasearthritis, kidney disease, HIV/AIDSlupus, and multiple sclerosis (MS). Hypothyroidism may also lead to depressed feelings.
Researchers believe that treating the depression may also help the co-existing illness improve.

Is Depression Linked to Chronic Pain?

When pain lingers for weeks to months, it's referred to as being "chronic." Not only does chronic pain hurt, it also disturbs your sleep, your ability to exercise and be active, your relationships, and your productivity at work. Can you see how chronic pain may also leave you feeling sad, isolated, and depreed?
There is help for chronic pain and depression. A multifaceted program of medicine, psychotherapy, support groups, and more can help you manage your pain, ease your depression, and get your life back on track.

Can Certain Drugs Cause Depression?
In certain people, drugs may lead to depression. For example, medications such as barbiturates, benzodiazepines, and beta-blockers have been associated with depression, especially in older people. Likewise, medications such as corticosteroids, opioids (codeine, morphine), and anticholinergics taken to relieve stomach cramping have been found to cause mania, which is a highly elated state associated with bipolar disorder.   online, 9/18/2019,

Do Not Anything or anyone to Invade Your Private Thinking Space:
Go Deep inside and Talk to the Holy Spirit
A Positive Solution will come:  Sis 'U'

I Took a Psalm, today

I took a Psalm

Forever and a day, it is my prayer that "I hide thy word in my heart that I may not sin against thee" which is a sincere prayer which I placed before the altar of the Living God many years ago. Actually, these words touched my heart almost instantly as I read them from the Word of God.

When I speak to the Holy Spirit, it is my prayer that I am speaking directly on a special line designed for me to express myself at an appointed time of need.  The dynamics of thinking that I am talking to the Living God is indeed the principles which I feel my relationship with my personal and Heavenly Master is based upon.

When I direct my thoughts, incline my heart, and release my words to the Holy Father of the Universe, I know that within me that there is a listening ear to every word that proceeds out of my mouth.

I steadfastly rely on the principles contained within the 91st Psalms(Psalms 91).  I apply this song/canticle, as I read it, to my daily living. I have personalized it to meet my measure while I travel this journey of life.  I instantly begin to say; I dwell in the Secret Place...,

Reading the 91st Psalms makes me realize that the Living, Breathing, Word; the Holy Spirit has been sent to the world with a purpose far beyond what can be explained in a few words by anyone.  We must only look to experience/feel "the presence" of the Holy Spirit.

I took a song out of the Holy Psalms to personalize it.
